Parfums de Marly is a patron of the Louvre Museum to enhance a
collection of 18th century masterpieces.
From 2024 and for three years, the Maison will be working alongside the world's most visited museum, in a major project designed to bring a wing of the objets d'art department back to life of the objets d'art department: the Cressent rooms.
RESTORING THE SPLENDOUR OF THE EIGHTEENTH CENTURY
At the heart of the Louvre, the Objets d'Art department has almost 22,000 pieces, of which only 8,000 are on display are on display due to their extreme fragility.
Dedicated to the 18th century, the Cressent rooms in the Richelieu wing are among the most confidential in the museum.
The renovation made possible by Parfums de Marly focuses on the general scenography to enhance the visitor experience, as well as the restoration of some of the furniture by Charles Cressent.

The aim of this work on the scenography is to put the spotlight back on these rooms steeped in history, to highlight the excellence of their collection and to create a more immersive setting, inviting visitors to wander around and let their imaginations run wild.
